Executive state

Durable user/context signals

Open work and risks

  1. High: repair scheduled-worker model/config selection. The open action still says operational synthesis may invoke obsolete kimi-for-coding/k2p6; current heartbeat success does not prove source repair or two clean runs.
  2. High: design/stage the isolated polling control plane. The architecture-review subagent 9cec5ce3080c timed out after malformed empty-input tool calls and produced no verified design result. Treat that failure as tooling/runtime evidence, not architecture evidence. Re-run only with a tight, read-only prompt/tool path when appropriate.
  3. Medium: provider ceiling remains unobserved (observed_provider_ceiling=null) despite a healthy advertised 1.05M context. Keep the prior compaction/handoff proof action open.
  4. Medium/low: decision-state.json remains stale since 2026-05-27; semantic-memory cleanup, notice-source hardening, provider-switch handoff, and local YouTube archive remain open. notices.jsonl still contains historical duplicate/obsolete notices; no destructive cleanup was attempted here.

# Operational synthesis — 2026-09-03T16:11:06Z

## Executive state

- **Live conversation is active.** The preferred model log has 6,380 rows and ends at 2026-09-03T11:41:45Z. Since the previous cycle, the user reported that NCN Festival tickets appear sold out and asked about alternatives while already traveling; the assistant corrected stale resale information and suggested Nuremberg/Dresden fallback events.
- **Architecture thread remains the highest-value open work.** The user requested a Claude-Code-style durable polling loop. The agreed direction is an isolated, model-agnostic control plane before the future prompt-builder/native backend: persistent watches with arbitrary reasonable schedules, durable queue, dedupe/debounce, retries/backoff, deadlines, wake budgets, shadow mode, and visible subagent lifecycle. Current ACP-resume dispatch is transitional; it must not be confused with the target sessionless backend.
- **Runtime is currently healthy.** `memory-heartbeat.json` at 16:07:57Z reports restore `ok=true`, 7,514 entries, and semantic state changed. `model-heartbeat.json` at 16:00:54Z reports `rc=0`, `acpx_rc=0`, `NO_CHANGE`. `context-guard.json` at 16:07:35Z reports direct ACP normal, 256,829 provider tokens (24.5%), no compaction, and no reload recommendation; live/configured model is `openai/gpt-5.6-terra`.

## Durable user/context signals

- NCN fallback planning is now the immediate conversational context: official resale was checked and found unavailable; do not repeat the earlier stale resale claim. Current alternatives recorded in the model log are Sierra Veins in Nuremberg tonight, Dark City Nbg Saturday, and Dresden options Sunday/Saturday. These are time-sensitive and should be re-verified before action.
- The durable architecture requirement is not merely “add another timer.” It must isolate scheduling/event detection from ACP session recovery and preserve a narrow adapter for the current backend while the prompt-builder backend is developed.
- No new curated-memory proposal is needed from this cycle; the recent travel/event context is useful warm context but likely transient.

## Open work and risks

1. **High:** repair scheduled-worker model/config selection. The open action still says operational synthesis may invoke obsolete `kimi-for-coding/k2p6`; current heartbeat success does not prove source repair or two clean runs.
2. **High:** design/stage the isolated polling control plane. The architecture-review subagent `9cec5ce3080c` timed out after malformed empty-input tool calls and produced no verified design result. Treat that failure as tooling/runtime evidence, not architecture evidence. Re-run only with a tight, read-only prompt/tool path when appropriate.
3. **Medium:** provider ceiling remains unobserved (`observed_provider_ceiling=null`) despite a healthy advertised 1.05M context. Keep the prior compaction/handoff proof action open.
4. **Medium/low:** `decision-state.json` remains stale since 2026-05-27; semantic-memory cleanup, notice-source hardening, provider-switch handoff, and local YouTube archive remain open. `notices.jsonl` still contains historical duplicate/obsolete notices; no destructive cleanup was attempted here.

## Verification limits

- Native Matrix-lite timer/subagent status tools were not available in this worker interface.
- A non-mutating bash/python diagnostic intended to inspect candidate-status distributions and log tails was denied by the configured permission policy. Candidate lifecycle status is therefore not independently re-counted this cycle.
- `turns.jsonl`, `observability.jsonl`, backlog status (`missing_runtime_entries`/`needs_sync`), and timer state were not independently checked. Do not infer backlog or missing conversations from filtered-log counts.

## Actions

- No files outside the operational-synthesis state were changed.
- No curated-memory edit or promotion was proposed.
- Keep the existing polling-control-plane action as the canonical next implementation/review item; do not create another duplicate action.
- Re-verify current event listings before the next user-facing recommendation because the festival weekend is underway.
