Summary
Memory/runtime packet generation is healthy, but the cycle is materially non-no-op because a persistent generated-state model mismatch and several long-lived open actions remain unresolved. No live backend replacement or reload was performed.
Evidence Reviewed
memory-heartbeat.json: 2026-09-02T04:11Z, restore ok=true, 7,476 total entries (6,435 visible), no restore required; semantic state refreshed.
model-heartbeat.json: 2026-09-02T03:58Z, rc=0, acpx_rc=0, NO_CHANGE.
context-guard.json: normal, 184,658 provider tokens / 17.6%, live model openai/gpt-5.6-terra; no compaction or reload recommendation. Provider ceiling remains unobserved (null).
model-conversation-log.jsonl: 6,342 rows; latest user activity is 2026-08-17 (Google interview-talk preparation). This is not evidence of missing conversations.
- Candidate status: 11 legacy
memory-candidates.jsonl rows remain status=candidate review material; no open/candidate rows were found in semantic-candidates.jsonl.
decision-state.json remains last updated 2026-05-27. Directed synthesis has no newer report than 2026-05-26.
Findings
- Persistent generated-state drift (medium):
continuity-summary.txt regenerated at 04:11Z still says kimi-for-coding/k2p6, contradicting pinned state and context guard, which identify openai/gpt-5.6-terra. Fix the worker/source/configuration and prove two clean scheduled runs; do not edit the generated summary directly.
- Runtime healthy but verification incomplete: packet manifest is internally fresh and direct ACP is well below advertised capacity. The effective provider ceiling is still unverified, so the prior observed ~350k compaction ceiling remains relevant risk until disproven.
- Open operational backlog remains actionable: provider-ceiling/control-plane verification, decision-state refresh, semantic-memory garbage audit, notice-source hardening, provider-switch handoff, curator write-path robustness, missed ImmoScout inbox follow-up, and the remaining local YouTube archive are still represented by open actions/notices.
Hypotheses
- The obsolete
kimi-for-coding/k2p6 identity is likely selected by a scheduled-worker-specific source/configuration path, not the live persistent-chat backend, because the main context guard and pinned state consistently report GPT-5.6 Terra while heartbeats themselves now succeed. Confirm by inspecting the worker invocation/config and observing two subsequent runs.
Actions / Recommendations
- Prioritize repair of the scheduled worker model selection, then verify two consecutive runs and regenerate/inspect continuity state.
- Expose or restore read-only timer, subagent, log-backlog (
missing_runtime_entries/needs_sync), turns, and observability checks to make scheduled health independently verifiable.
- Keep 11 legacy memory candidates as review material; do not promote automatically. Main agent/curator should review exact housing/operational candidates in a bounded batch.
- Refresh
decision-state.json and prune stale notice entries only through the owning source workflow.
Blockers / Missing Tools
- Matrix-lite timer/subagent status tools and the log-backlog status surface were not exposed to this worker, so unattended timer/subagent/backlog health could not be independently confirmed.
- No native status view of
/home/matrix-lite/state/turns.jsonl or /home/matrix-lite/state/observability.jsonl was available in this cycle; do not infer synchronization backlog from raw log counts.
- No subagents were used; no approvals were requested.
Curated-memory Proposal
None. Current durable user context is already represented; the remaining work is operational repair/review, not a new user-memory fact. Do not edit curated-memory.md from this report.
Robustness Risk
The repeated generated model-identity drift and absent independent control-plane checks can cause false confidence: a healthy main backend does not prove the scheduled worker is healthy. Add a single source-of-truth model resolver plus a compact worker self-report containing model, run result, and backlog status.

## Summary
Memory/runtime packet generation is healthy, but the cycle is materially non-no-op because a persistent generated-state model mismatch and several long-lived open actions remain unresolved. No live backend replacement or reload was performed.
## Evidence Reviewed
- `memory-heartbeat.json`: 2026-09-02T04:11Z, restore `ok=true`, 7,476 total entries (6,435 visible), no restore required; semantic state refreshed.
- `model-heartbeat.json`: 2026-09-02T03:58Z, `rc=0`, `acpx_rc=0`, `NO_CHANGE`.
- `context-guard.json`: normal, 184,658 provider tokens / 17.6%, live model `openai/gpt-5.6-terra`; no compaction or reload recommendation. Provider ceiling remains unobserved (`null`).
- `model-conversation-log.jsonl`: 6,342 rows; latest user activity is 2026-08-17 (Google interview-talk preparation). This is not evidence of missing conversations.
- Candidate status: 11 legacy `memory-candidates.jsonl` rows remain `status=candidate` review material; no open/candidate rows were found in `semantic-candidates.jsonl`.
- `decision-state.json` remains last updated 2026-05-27. Directed synthesis has no newer report than 2026-05-26.
